Parent Resources

In order to provide meaningful learning experiences for our children through SEM, we need the help of parents and other community members to share their passions with our children.

We would like to ask all parents to complete the form below. It will be used to identify parents and community members who wish to share their experiences with students and also help identify employer matching opportunities. If you are interested in volunteering, please include interests and hobbies outside your profession since these also may be areas of interest for our children (for example: photography, painting, etc).

If both parents in a family wish to participate, please fill out the form twice, once for each parent. If you know of anyone else who might be interested (even outside the LME community), please direct them to fill out this form or contact the Enrichment Coordinator Nicole Levitan at Nicole_Levitan@roundrockisd.org.

Desired Participation
Reference
When preparing for a enrichment cluster, the facilitator may need information to better understand what topics should be taught or what activities are feasible. As a reference, you will simply be making yourself available to answer questions and help form the link between the activities in the cluster and the real world.
Speaker
As a speaker, your main role will be to speak to classes about your profession and how the things learned in school relate to that profession. This role would require that you are available to come speak to the students during the school day.
Facilitator
As a facilitator, you would team up with a teacher to help facilitate an enrichment cluster as students develop the end product throughout the duration of the cluster. Facilitators would need to be able to meet with the students on a weekly basis during school hours for six to eight weeks.
Assistant Facilitator
As an assistant facilitator, you would be available to help the facilitator both in the classroom and possibly during preparation for a cluster. This is an ideal way to help if you want to help with a cluster but wouldn't feel comfortable leading one.
As Needed
For those who would like to help out on an "as needed" basis.
None
I'm not interested in volunteering in any of these capacities.
